Born and raised in Vinton, Dr. Michael Martin O.D. is proud to continue a family legacy of serving the community through exceptional eye care. As a third-generation optometrist, he has dedicated his career to helping patients preserve their vision while building lasting relationships with families in our community.
Dr. Michael Martin O.D. graduated from the University of Iowa in 1982 before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1986.
Board-certified in the treatment of ocular disease, Dr. Michael Martin O.D. combines nearly four decades of clinical experience with a passion for primary eye care. He enjoys helping patients of all ages maintain healthy vision and has a particular interest in fitting today's advanced one-day disposable contact lenses.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. His Christian faith is an important part of his life, and he actively participates in men's discipleship and Bible study. He also enjoys reading biographies, golfing, traveling, and lifelong learning.
