Your Surgical Referral
When surgery becomes appropriate, your optometrist will refer you to a trusted cataract surgeon and coordinate the information needed for your procedure.
Your Cataract Surgery
Your ophthalmologist performs the surgery while your optometrist remains involved in your care.
Your Follow-Up Care
After surgery, you will return to Martin Eye Clinic for much of your post-operative care. Your optometrist will monitor your healing, answer your questions, evaluate your vision, and let you know when it is time to update your glasses prescription.
